Very nice preserve. Animals were well cared for and obviously loved very much. The folks that work there were all very friendly and you could tell they enjoyed what they do. Nice tour, great work!Full review by Brenda C

So after reading these reviews, I wonder if anyone has successfully requested to NOT have Frank give the tour? I would feel rude asking, but don't want three kids subjected to a grumpy old man on what should be a great day!

Frank isn't grumpy as in mean; he is just better with the animals than people. He is passionate about the animals and super knowledgeable, so you will get a good tour with him and you will get to see his love for the animals. He calls the giraffes "his boys" and the zebras "his girls." He knows them all well and he will tell you all about their individual personalities. His sense of humor is a dry one, so be prepared for that.
