They are high but not overly so. However, the view from some of the seats looked like they might be partially blocked as most of the action took place from the middle of the stage and towards the front of the stage where the judge sat. They have some small speakers up there to help you hear the acting dialogue better but I am not sure if it is easy to clearly hear everything. Some websites will show you pictures of the exact view that you will get from a particular seat while attending a West End play. You might check to see if this performance hall is displayed in this manner anywhere out there. I like to use the website SeatPlan and then put in County Hall to see the layout.
