Rather than re-sign with Pittsburgh on the franchise tag in 2018, Bell opted to sit out the entire season, then left for the New York Jets the following year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have landed star wide receiver DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick, according to multiple reports, including ESPN and NFL Network.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Metcalf is headed to the Steel City in exchange for a second round pick. Seattle and Pittsburgh will also exchange picks in the 6th and 7th rounds of the 2025 NFL draft. Additionally, Metcalf will receive quite a hefty payday with the Steelers, as they are giving him a five-year contract worth $150 million.
