This move comes after Carson Wentz suffered a season-ending injury. Wolford joins a young Vikings' quarterback room with JJ McCarthy and Max Brosmer.

The 30-year-old from Wake Forest failed to make the Jaguars' initial 53-man roster in late August, but he's since found work in Minnesota. Wolford's last in-game NFL action came with the Rams in 2022, completing 38 of 62 pass attempts for 390 yards, three interceptions and one touchdown over three appearances.
