Jets trade CB Michael Carter to Eagles

Just a few weeks ago, Michael Carter was the lead back for the Arizona Cardinals. On Monday, they released him. It's not a move anyone saw coming. The only healthy RBs remaining on the Arizona roster are Bam Knight and Emari Demercado.
The second player attached to the Eagles is cornerback Michael Carter II. The team needs more cornerbacks, though it’s not a higher priority than the pass rush. Still, Carter has a 45 percent chance of being traded, per Fowler and Bowen, and the Super Bowl champs have been attached to him.
The Cardinals intend to re-sign Carter in the near future, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
