Rivian Automotive is recalling 17,260 vehicles in the U.S. due to a headlight issue that can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday.

The printed circuit board for the electronic power steering assist may become overstressed, causing a loss of power steering assist when the vehicle reaches a stop and then accelerates again, the agency said.
