The show was the first of the Live ‘25 tour, which will run for 41 dates - 19 of which are in the U.K. and Ireland. The group will perform Saturday night (July 5) in Cardiff before heading to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin; the tour will then run through North America, Asia and Australia and conclude in São Paolo, Brazil, on Nov. 23.

CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Oasis ended a 16-year hiatus on Friday with a punchy, powerful trip through one of Britpop’s greatest songbooks, kicking off a reunion tour in Cardiff, Wales to a crowd ecstatic for the band’s 1990s hits.

Oasis is back. After 16 years apart, Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher reunited on stage, along with Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, and new (American!) drummer Joey Waronker, to create a version of Oasis that is both classic and brand-new at the same time.
