Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday (18 August) said the setbacks in recent years between India and China had not served the interests of the people of either nation, stressing that the present moment offered "an important opportunity of improvement and growth" in ties.
“On the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar … Mr Wang Yi is visiting Islamabad for co-chairing the sixth Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue on August 21, 2025,” FO’s statement issued here on Tuesday said.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met NSA Doval at the Hyderabad House in the national capital on Tuesday. Wang Yi arrived in India on Monday for a two-day visit and held talks with External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar.
