NFL again faces questions about the definition of a catch after disputed pick in Bills-Broncos game
Once again, many NFL fans, coaches and commentators are questioning the definition of a catch. A disputed interception helped eliminate the Buffalo Bills from the playoffs in a 33-30 loss to the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
Buffalo lost the first turnover of the game. James Cook opened the possession with a 5-yard run and Josh Allen scrambled up the middle for 26 yards, bowling into safety Talanoa Hufanga and linebacker Alex Singleton to finish it off. On the next play, Cook ran for 2 yards before he fumbled on a hit by Singleton. Hufanga recovered at the Broncos' 31.
With their starting quarterback set to miss the rest of the playoffs, the Denver Broncos are adding another quarterback to the team.
The Broncos are getting stung with the injury bug, but watched Pat Bryant leave early against a physical Bills team on Saturday.
The Denver Broncos ended up pulling off a 33-30 overtime win in the AFC divisional round against the Bills. Many in Buffalo feel like the team was dealt a tough hand with the way certain calls went during the game. Regardless, the end hurt and potentially hit Allen the hardest.
