Republican lawmakers appear willing to endorse redrawing of Black-leaning congressional districts, enraging Democrats and many Black voters.

Florida Supreme Court heard arguments in what could be last ditch bid by voter rights organizations to overturn congressional map favoring GOP.

The map changed District 5, which connected communities 200 miles apart from west of Tallahassee to Jacksonville.
