The injury woes got even worse when starting forward P.J. Washington exited in the second half of Dallas' 132-117 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night with what the team deemed as right ankle soreness.

Washington first suffered an injury to his right ankle Feb. 8 when the Mavericks defeated the Houston Rockets. It was a game that symbolized the team’s potential when healthy as Davis dominated in his 30 minute stretch before he sustained an adductor strain.

P.J. Washington, who had been playing some of his best basketball before the break, is on the injury report with a right ankle sprain.

In tonight's game against the Bucks, the Dallas Mavericks lost yet another member of their frontcourt, at least for the short term. PJ Washington left the game in the third quarter with right ankle soreness and was ruled out after going to the sideline.

Things appear to be going downhill steadily for the Dallas Mavericks. After stunning the NBA world by trading away Luka Dončić in return for Anthony Davis and Max Christie, the Mavericks lost Davis for an extended period after he strained his left adductor.
