Lady Gaga has addressed the criticism Joker: Folie à Deux (aka Joker 2) faced after its release last year with a dig during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live. Joker 2 released in October last year and there was much anticipation for the sequel given the success of 2019's Joker.

The singer made the ill-fated sequel the butt of her jokes after the film royally bombed among critics and at the box office.

Zazie Beetz, Leigh Gill, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan and Harry Lawtey also feature in the film.
