LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thousands are without power Wednesday afternoon in the Louisville area. At about noon, LG&E and KU reported a massive power outage that is affecting 8,124 customers spanning from Jeffersontown to Fisherville. The power company is citing "damaged equipment" as the cause of the outage.
