Jon Stewart is set to return as host of The Daily Show in 2026, according to the latest announcement. Stewart originally served as full-time host from 1999 to 2015 before returning to a part-time role in 2024.

Jon Stewart has extended his 'Daily Show' contract for another year amid the mounting criticism toward Paramount following its settlement with Donald Trump and Colbert's own cancellation.

Stewart has closed another one-year deal to remain as one of the hosts and exec producers of The Daily Show through the end of next year.
