NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Norfolk State officially named Michael Vick its head football coach Friday, the latest hire of a talented NFL player with no college coaching experience to lead an HBCU program.

The 2025 season was a less-than-stellar start to Michael Vick’s coaching career. The former NFL star took on the mantle of leading the Spartans as a homecoming of sorts to his home state of Virginia.
