A Pennsylvania-based cheesemaker has voluntarily recalled several of its products. These products may potentially be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (Listeria), which the Mayo Clinic explains is bacterium that can cause a serious infection through the consumption of “improperly processed deli meats and unpasteurized milk products.”

A national cheese manufacturer voluntarily recalled select soft-ripened cheeses sold at Aldi stores. Savencia Cheese USA announced the recall on Tuesday, citing cheeses manufactured at its Lena facility as potentially contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled products include Brie and Camembert cheeses sold at multiple retailers, including Aldi and Market Basket.
