The Richmond Police Department said a woman was struck and killed by a car at the intersection of 19th Street and Maury Street on Saturday evening.At 7:40 p.m., officers were called to the area after getting a report of a woman being hit by a car traveling westbound on Maury Street.

Richmond: Police ID victim in Saturday hit-and-run on Semmes Avenue

Richmond Police have identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run on Semmes Avenue on Saturday. Kristin Tolbert, 26, of Richmond, was crossing Semmes Avenue northbound near the intersection of West 15th Street at 11:31 p.m. Saturday night when she was struck by a vehicle operating eastbound, according to police.
