A suspect is dead and a Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officer was transported to shock trauma after a shooting in Baltimore on Tuesday.

Police in Baltimore say an officer and a suspect have been shot in an “active shooter incident.” Police say the officer was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma unit.

Authorities say a Pennsylvania State Police trooper is dead after he was shot and killed by a man he had pulled over in a traffic stop.
