Scattered rain and thunderstorms could bring heavy rain
RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Rio Grande Valley will see some more scattered showers and thunderstorms through the weekend that could include some heavy rain. While the Weather Prediction Center shows generally a half inch to one and a half inches over the next couple of days.
A few spotty showers continuing to move across the area but right now it is still fairly warm. Other places have cooled down from the rain. It is muggy. It’s still a little windy out there too. There’s plenty of showers and thunderstorms across the south east of boundaries moving through Mississippi and Alabama showers down towards the south in Louisiana.
