Michigan ’s new offensive line coach grew up in Maumee, starred at the University of Toledo, and spent more than a decade coaching across the country. Now, he’s back in the Midwest, coaching one of the most iconic programs in college football.

Michigan’s football program has lost another member of its 2026 recruiting class. Long snapper Colton Dermer, who attends Sanda Day O’Connor in Glendale, Arizona, signed with the Wolverines during the early window Dec. 3-5 but has been granted his release and committed to Georgia on Friday.
