At the moment, the Big 12 is shaping up as a two-bid league, but those two bids are BYU, which controls its own destiny toward Arlington, and Texas Tech. If the CFP were seeded and bracketed today, Utah is out.
The Buffs are on the road for a quick pitstop in Utah, where the mountains and climate should offer a familiar setting. If you aren’t making the trip to Utah, here is how to watch the game on TV. Kickoff against Utah is at 8:15 p.m. MDT on Saturday, Oct. 25.
While the trip to Utah isn’t a new experience for the “GameDay” crew, which visited Salt Lake City in 2004, 2010, 2015, 2016 and most recently in 2023, one new cast member who has a bit of history with the Utes is making his SLC “GameDay” debut.

The Bearcats and Cougars square off Nov. 22 at Nippert Stadium, so there may be some powder blue scouts on hand at the game or to state their case on the GameDay set, which will have a brisk, early morning start at 7 a.m. Mountain time.
