It took Aaron Glenn less than a month as the New York Jets head coach to finalize his entire coaching staff, but he's accomplished a key first goal as the head honcho in Florham Park. New York unveiled the full coaching staff under Glenn - the staff the former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator hopes can turn around the team and either end the organization's nine-year below .

Jets coach Aaron Glenn has added Jon Berger to his staff as a game management coach, per sources. Berger worked for the Giants from 1987-2021 in various analytics roles. He has worked for the NFL since then, including as VP of replay.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey have made the first big decision of their new roles: the team will be moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After two years, the Rodgers era in Florham Park will be done. Speaking on WFAN this week, former Giants running back Tiki Barber backed the decision.

Glenn was the Saints defensive backs coach and Lions defensive coordinator before getting the Jets job. Merritt has coached in the NFL for 24 years – three with the Jets, 14 with the Giants, one with Arizona and the last six with Kansas City.

Glenn, for his efforts as the Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator, was nomin ated for the 2024 NFL Assistant Coach of the Year Award. Unfortunately, Glenn did not win it. Even so, he did fare well in voting.

The former first-round pick for New York said he knew he had to come back to the organization to get them a Super Bowl.
