One player that could be on the block is outfielder Luis Robert Jr., who has regressed in recent years. He'll either enter free agency after 2025 or be kept thanks to club options for 2026 and 2027. Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report believes Robert could be traded at the deadline, and listed him as a buy-low trade chip.

The White Sox have not yet listed a starter for Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies, but it's Smith's turn in the rotation, unless they opt for a bullpen day. That would be a chance to get back on track against an offense that ranks 26th in MLB in runs.
