A mass shooting overnight at a club in Brooklyn left three people dead and another nine wounded, police officials and the mayor said Sunday morning.
The Sunday morning shootout at Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights happened after a gang-related dispute, the police said.
Three people were killed and another 10 were injured in an overnight shooting involving multiple gunmen at a Brooklyn nightclub, police said Sunday. The dead were identified by the New York Police Department on Sunday night as Marvin St. Louis, 19, of Brooklyn; Amadou Diallo, 27, of Upper Manhattan; and Jamel Childs, 35, of Brooklyn.
The NYPD says 19-year-old Marvin St. Louis, 27-year-old Amadou Diallo, and 35-year-old Jamel Childs, were all shot and killed inside Taste of the City Lounge on Franklin Avenue. Detectives say Childs and Martin St. Lewis have been identified as the shooters.
Martin St. Louis died in the Sunday gunfight he started when he fired at Folk Nation gang member Jamel Childs, 35, according to police.

Within minutes, officers arrived, finding that nine men and three women, ranging in age from 19 to 61, had been shot. Three men died. Marvin St. Louis, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. Amadou Diallo, 27, and Jamel Childs, 35, were critically wounded and succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
