Vikings rookie left guard Donovan Jackson did not practice Wednesday as he continues working back from an ankle injury suffered against the Packers on Nov. 23. Jackson was out all last week and was inactive against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Jackson hurt his ankle Week 12 against Green Bay and didn't play the following Sunday versus Seattle. However, he was able to return to action this past Sunday against Washington and played all 64 of the Vikings ' offensive snaps. With a full practice under his belt Thursday, Jackson should be good to face the Cowboys this Sunday.

What kind of offensive line J.J. McCarthy will have in front of him on Sunday remains unclear as the Vikings head into the weekend. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw and left guard Donovan Jackson have both been listed as questionable on Minnesota's final injury report,

Jackson played through his ankle issue Week 14 against the Commanders, and he'll work to gain clearance again for Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys. The rookie first-rounder has impressed as a pass blocker as Minnesota's starting left guard.

Tight end T.J. Hockenson, who popped up on the injury report with a shin, went from DNP to limited, which is an encouraging sign for his availability this weekend. Meanwhile, three players — LG Donovan Jackson (ankle), S Theo Jackson (neck), and DT Levi Drake Rodriguez (neck) — went from limited to full participation on Thursday.

The Minnesota Vikings were eliminated from playoff contention before taking the field for their game at the Dallas Cowboys.
