Officials say US travelers in certain regions of Mexico should continue to shelter in place on Monday, and airlines have canceled and rescheduled flights.

Air Transat, Air Canada and WestJet airlines say they plan to resume operations to and from Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday, as the situation stabilizes following violence and unrest due to killing of the leader of a major drug cartel.
