But, Hegseth writes, a new "What You Did Last Week" email is expected from OPM on Monday, and this time, he has decided that DOD civilians must comply. Workers must reply to the OPM email with “five bullets on their previous week's achievements” and copy their supervisor, Hegseth wrote.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has directed all department civilian employees to respond to emails from the Office of Personnel Management asking them to list their achievements in the past week.

The Defense Department initially told employees to "pause any response" to OPM's request for a list of their work accomplishments.

Two years after the sign at Fort Benning was changed to Fort Moore, the sign at the Army base in Georgia will be changed again. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Monday that the name will be Fort Benning again.

Fort Moore, a Georgia U.S. Army installation, will revert back to its old name, Fort Benning, on the orders of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth renamed the Georgia base as Fort Benning. Other bases have been renamed using a name similar to that of original namesake.
