Nottingham Forest are targeting PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko as they ramp up their push for summer signings following the imminent £55 million sale of Anthony Elanga.

Elanga, 23, is currently training in Portugal and is believed to be eager to work under Howe. His strong relationship with fellow Sweden international Alexander Isak and a close friendship with William Osula, Newcastle’s backup striker, are also seen as factors in smoothing the transition.
