Russian air defence units destroyed 51 Ukrainian drones over the border Belgorod region over a 3-1/2 hour period late on Monday, the Defence Ministry said.

Russia's air defence units destroyed or intercepted 51 Ukrainian drones overnight, the Russian defence ministry said early on Sunday.

The statement added that 51 drones were shot down or disabled by electronic warfare, interceptor drones, anti-air missiles, and mobile fire groups, which typically use truck-mounted machine guns.
