The disturbance had a 90 percent chance of cyclone formation through seven days as of Friday, the National Hurricane Center said.

A tropical wave, formerly known as Invest 91L has no chance of developing into a tropical depression over the next few days. A tropical wave over the Atlantic, formerly Invest 91L, is producing a limited amount of shower activity. Development is no longer expected, according to the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center.

The National Hurricane Center expects Invest 91L to strengthen into a tropical depression by the weekend as it moves west across the Atlantic.
