After an excellent rookie campaign, Falcons TE Kyle Pitts' lack of production has been a problem for Atlanta. Head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot need to see more from Pitts in his contract year.

The Falcons watched one of their past draft picks call it a career: Keanu Neal, who starred for Atlanta's NFC title winning team of 2016.

The Cowboys landed ahead of the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals; five teams who managed eight wins on the year. Dallas is still woefully behind the Philadelphia Eagles (4th) and Washington Commanders (6th), though.

The safety, whose last team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys. He signed with the Steelers ahead of the 2023 season, joining the team on a two-year deal and making 50 tackles and an interception in nine games before sustaining a rib injury.
