From Mirror, wire reports The Pittsburgh Pirates split two games played on Wednesday afternoon in spring training exhibition play, beating the Baltimore Orioles 7-3 at home in Bradenton, while losing 9-4 to the Atlanta Braves in North Port.

The Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates take the field Saturday afternoon in Sarasota for the 2025 MLB spring training opener for both sides.

It was a split-squad day for the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. The Pirates hosted the Baltimore Orioles at LECOM Park in Bradenton and were on the road to face the Atlanta Braves in CoolToday Park in North Port.
