On New Year's Eve 2024, just eight hours before fireworks were set to usher in the new year, Little Rock fire crews received an urgent call— one where a high-rise apartment building was on fire.

Residents were being urged to stay away from the area around the EMR junkyard in Camden on Thursday night as firefighters worked to put out a fire.

A fire at the EMR Metal Recycling facility in Camden was quickly contained Thursday night, one month after the company was sued over a series of fires.

Sources told Eyewitness News the unoccupied truck was wanted in connection to arson cases in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
