The troopers were taken to hospitals after Wednesday’s shooting, where they were in critical and serious condition, Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement.

A man was arrested for attempted homicide after a victim was found with a gunshot wound in Riverside County.

The victim died despite the efforts of emergency services, a force spokesperson said.
