A man is dead and two others are seriously hurt after a head-on crash on SR-40 in Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol says. According to the FHP, the crash happened just before 11:30 p.m.

A bicyclist was killed in an accident on Ga. Highway 35 (also called U.S. Highway 319) in Tift County Monday, and the driver who hit them was herself injured as she tried to render aid.
