Police have arrested a man who they allege is responsible for two of five sexual assaults recently reported at several north Houston apartment complexes, Houston Police Department officials announced in a Wednesday news conference.

Bond for Denzeill Sneed, 29, was set at $200,000. He is charged with burglary with intent to commit other felony - sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault.

Houston police now believe two men are responsible for at least five sexual assaults along the same block of West Gulf Bank Road in recent months.

Officers elevated their search for another person, suspected of committing the three other sexual assault incidents, during a press conference on Wednesday— urging anyone with information about the cases to contact the police department.

A suspect has been charged in connection to a series of sexual assaults in the West Gulf Bank Road area of north Houston, and another suspect remains unidentified.
