Now, you can count booking giant Expedia among those sites. And, you'll also start seeing Southwest flights listed on additional Expedia Group third-party booking sites like Travelocity, Hotwire, Orbitz and CheapTickets, the carrier said Wednesday.

Dallas’s Southwest Airlines is making a huge change to the way it sells tickets for flights. Southwest announced it will let Expedia’s companies sell airline tickets on its sites.

The move marks another major shift for Southwest, which had resisted online travel agencies and meta search platforms for decades.

Southwest Airline’s entire network of 117 destinations in 11 countries, including the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean, will now be bookable on Expedia.
