A federal judge said Friday a two-year-old US citizen was deported with her mother to Honduras. The Trump administration says her mother asked officials to take her with her, documents show.

The child's mother was being deported and wanted to take the girl, U.S. lawyers said. When the judge asked to speak to her, they were already in the air.

A Wisconsin judge has threatened to refuse to hold court following the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan last week. Dugan was arrested by federal authorities for allegedly helping a man who was in the United States illegally avoid arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

The FBI arrested a sitting judge in a Milwaukee County court in Wisconsin on Friday, claiming that she obstructed immigration enforcement agents from detaining an undocumented immigrant in her courtroom.
