A central Florida woman is suing a dairy farm and grocery store for allegedly selling raw milk that hospitalized both her and her toddler and also led to the death of her unborn baby. Rachel Maddox of Seminole County said in the lawsuit filed Aug.

"The check was drawn off JP Morgan Chase Bank and made payable to Cooper Legacy Builders LLC, an Orlando company Taylor had established with an LLC. His goal was to draw off of the check before the bank determined it was fraudulent," the sheriff's office said.

The Florida Department of Health said this month that Keely Farms Dairy, a farm in New Smyrna Beach, was tied to 21 infections from raw milk consumption.

The elusive rainbow snake is a nonvenomous species, whose population has declined in recent decades, according to the wildlife commission.
