A 25-year-old Winnipeg man is facing fraud charges after allegedly stealing approximately $38,500 from a department store where he worked.

A 54-year-old woman was shot by a Carberry RCMP officer Monday after allegedly acting erratically and brandishing a weapon on Highway 1.
