Sony has announced a brand new Venom movie, but it’s likely not what most fans were expecting. With the mainline Spider-Man films as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony has opted to focus on live-action projects featuring Spider-Man villains.
Spider-Man: No Way Home has a mid-credits scene that shows Venom (Tom Hardy) in a bar getting drunk. Then, after getting zapped back to his own universe, we see that he left behind a tiny piece of the symbiote.
The post credits scene for Spider-Man: Brand New Day just hinted at the web-slinger's next appearance - and it's not the movie fans might expect.
