While fast food chains have long conducted private franchisee meetings to preview upcoming menu innovations and marketing efforts, Taco Bell last year took the extra step of conducting a separate keynote event, filled with music and celebrities in a bid to build buzz with common fans.

"New investment is always important. Filling an empty building is even better," a Prattville city official said.

A $2.59 potato bowl is at the center of the lawsuit, filed against the Albion restaurant owner and operator and the employee. The restaurant contended the substance was sour cream, the lawsuit says.

Items include soft and crispy tacos at about $2.99 each; a burrito at $5.99; a quesadilla at $6.49; and a chicken bowl with rice, black beans, iceberg lettuce, shreddedpurple cabbage, pico de gallo, reduced-fat sour cream, guacamole and cheddar cheese at $7.99.

Churros, of Spanish origin, are traditionally made with a flour-based batter that’s deep fried and dusted with a cinnamon-sugar blend, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica. The sugary treat is usually eaten in the morning and is served with a chocolate sauce for dipping.

Taco Bell and Milk Bar, a New York-based dessert company, have reunited to launch the new Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros. The new sweet snack combines Milk Bar’s iconic birthday cake flavor with a Taco Bell twist. Fans nationwide can taste the dessert from the two brands for only $2.99 for two churros or $1.99 for one while supplies last.

Taco Bell is putting “a spicy remix” on a menu favorite. The limited-time Caliente Cantina Chicken menu arrives Thursday, Feb. 27, at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, according to the fast food chain. The lineup is a spicier take on the original Cantina Chicken menu, introduced in March 2024.
