A Memphis man accused of driving to Nashville to steal cellphones from downtown visitors and using apps on those phones to steal the victims’ money was arrested.
Along with stealing thousands in cash, police said the man used a credit card linked to an Apple Pay account on the stolen phone to make a $1,700 purchase at a Memphis jewelry store.
