Aaron Rodgers still has not signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a full offseason of rumors and reports, the two sides are still connected as likely partners. During the 2025 NFL draft, the Steelers opted to pass on taking a quarterback early.
During the NFL Network’s schedule release show on Wednesday, Jim Nantz made his pitch for Aaron Rodgers to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Shortly after the schedule was released, NFL Network host Rich Eisen noted that the New York Jets will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1.
The date is set for the Green Bay Packers’ game at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Will it be Jordan Love vs. Aron Rodgers?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a very active offseason, but one that many of the fans haven't been overly thrilled about. While the team did bring in star wide receiver DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh still has a lot of questions around the roster.
