The Indian stock exchanges NSE and BSE will be closed on November 15, Friday on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain shut in the first half from 9 am to 5 pm and resume operations in the evening session between 5 pm to 11:30 pm.

The stock market holiday today is to mark Guru Nanak Jayanti, or Gurpurab, which is a significant festival for the Sikh community.
