The state fire marshal sat down for a one-on-one interview regarding the investigation into the Esparto fireworks warehouse explosion that killed seven people.

The Yolo County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously declared a local state of emergency following a fireworks warehouse explosion and fire that damaged multiple buildings and killed at least seven people who have yet to be identified.

It has been one week since the explosion rocked this tight-knit community, beginning a massive investigation into what caused the deadly blast by the State Fire Marshal’s office.
