My Goodness, did Mother Nature deliver the rain today! Some places received well over an inch to even as much as an inch and a half of much needed rain.

Despite the area desperately needing rain, CBS News New York's Lonnie Quinn says we won't see much, if any, over at least the next seven days.

Heading into next week, rain and snow are both possible from about Tuesday to Friday next week. It is still too early to tell how much rainfall we will get or when exactly we would switch over from rain to snow.

Long range forecast models indicate that rain chances will become more likely as we move into next week and temperatures will be much cooler, but still a lot of wiggle room ahead of its arrival. Just a First Alert for what we will be tracking one week from today!
