A 67-year-old Texas man has died, according to National Park Service officials, while he was trying to hike down to the Phantom Ranch along the South Kaibab Trail at the Grand Canyon.

A non-profit in the Grand Canyon State is hoping to save lives by training ordinary Arizonans to do just that. FOX 10's Danielle Miller has more.
