He is also charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of possession of a bladed article.
In the wake of the Huntingdon train stabbing, the actions of a ‘heroic’ rail worker left with critical injuries are being praised by police. The unnamed LNER staff member tried to stop the attacker, as the driver acted quickly to divert the train to Huntingdon station, where police swarmed the scene to make an arrest.
