Mandatory evacuations ordered for a new wildfire Thursday in Larimer County are now voluntary. The evacuation area is near Deadman Road, including County Road 86. This is west of Red Feather Lakes and north of the communities of Spencer Heights and Kinikinik.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office ordered mandatory evacuations in an area along Deadman Road west of Red Feather for the North Lone Pine Fire.

Officials are urging visitors to begin evacuating at 10 a.m. Monday from Hurricane Evacuation Zone A, which includes the unincorporated villages of Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras. Residents are to begin evacuating at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
